WOKRING WITH HORSES ON SCREEN
Overview
Join for a half day of learning how to work with horses for screen, bought to you by Swashbuckling Cornwall & Polmartin Riding School.

During the day, you will get a chance to learn about horses and how they work- they are an actor in their own right. The roles of horse master, stunt rider and actor among others. Touch on legal, logistical, H&S implications along with some jargon, tips and tricks, dos and don’ts . As well as seeing horses in action.
​
If you are hoping or thinking about working with horses on screen in the future this will help you have an informed view on how to make this happen!
​
Who is it for: Filmmakers, Directors, Producers, DOPs, Camera Operators, Gaffers, Sound Recordist, Photographers, any crew who might find themselves working around horses.
​
Polmartin’s horses have been used on wide range of productions from short films, TV shows to major Bollywood movies.
​
Note:
· You will not be riding horses on the day.
· If you are allergic to horses or hay this might not be for you!
· Please do not bring expensive camera equipment.
