Swashbuckling Cornwall takes health & safety very seriously and we take all reasonable steps are taken to help provide you with a safe and enjoyable experience. The Health & Safety policy is to help minimise the risk of injury to yourself or others.

It is important for participants understand and follow our health & safety policy and rules

I understand that there are risks associated with involvement in the Swashbuckling Cornwall activities and that these risks cannot be completely eliminated.

Activities at Swashbuckling Cornwall may result in injury, please consider yourself and others at all times.

Swashbuckling Cornwall will not be liable for any person in respect of injury or loss of life to any person.

I recognise that participation in such activities is voluntary and not mandatory. I/my child/children understand that they may withdraw from the activity if they feel at risk. This must be done in consultation with an Swashbuckling Cornwall instructor.

Attendees of Swashbuckling Cornwall activities must be in good health and free from any potential adverse medical conditions and not greater than 20 weeks pregnant. If unsure please seek medical advice.

It is your responsibility to inform us if you/your child have any medical conditions that we should be aware of.

I understand Swashbuckling Cornwall will identify any foreseeable risks or hazards and implement correct management procedures to eliminate or minimise those risks.

It is important that you always follow our rules, listen to our instructors, respect and watch out for others and participate within your skill level.

Instructors at Swashbuckling Cornwall reserve the right to remove guests from further activities if they are acting in a way that may endanger themselves or others.

Do not attempt tricks or other stage and screen combat moves that you have not been taught at by Swashbuckling Cornwall staff.

Staff perform frequent maintenance checks to ensure that equipment is functioning properly and that it is in good working order.

An ability to enforce our safety rules is a prerequisite for our instructors.

Appropriate clothing and closed toed shoes must be worn by all attendees.

I will do my best to ensure that myself/my child/children follow the health & safety procedures.

In an emergency, Swashbuckling Cornwall may act on my behalf.

I will inform Swashbuckling Cornwall as soon as possible of any changes in medical or any other relevant circumstances.

I agree to myself/my child receiving any emergency medical, dental, or surgical treatment, including anaesthetic or blood transfusion, as considered by the medical authorities present.

If I/my child is involved in a serious disciplinary problem, including the use of illegal substances and/or alcohol, or actions that threaten the safety of others, I/he/she will be sent home at my expense.

You will not be able to participate any in any activities if your health, physical or psychological condition or any other factor may endanger your health and safety, or that of any other participants.
